Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By signing in to Releaseink, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What Releaseink does
Releaseink connects to your GitHub repositories (with your permission) and reads merged pull requests to generate user-facing changelogs using AI. You can edit, publish, and share these changelogs via a public URL.
3. Your account
You must have a GitHub account to use Releaseink. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Releaseink to generate or publish content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. GitHub data
By connecting a repository, you authorize Releaseink to read pull request data from that repo. You represent that you have the right to grant this access. You can revoke access at any time from your GitHub OAuth settings.
6. AI-generated content
Changelogs are generated by Claude AI based on your pull request data. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and editing changelogs before publishing them.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.
8. Free plan limits
Free accounts are limited to 3 changelog generations. We may adjust free plan limits at our discretion with reasonable notice.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime.
10. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of your repositories and pull request data. The changelogs you generate and publish are yours. Releaseink retains all rights to the platform, software, and branding.
11. Disclaimer
Releaseink is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Releaseink after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
